Hasrat Godil

Hasrat is a people-first engineering leader with a proven track record of building and scaling multiple engineering organizations, and delivering company-impacting products. At Acorns, he leads our software engineering organization. Prior to Acorns, Hasrat spent almost 7 years at Uber, building their engineering teams for Uber Elevate and UberPool, also growing UberPool from the ground up to a global product. As a software engineer, Hasrat built some large scale distributed systems at Microsoft, helping them deliver on product goals for Windows Live and Bing. He received a Masters in Computer Engineering from UT Austin and now lives in Chino Hills with his wife and one Acorns Early investor.
