Jiho Kang

Partner at Antler

Jiho Kang is currently a Partner at Antler. Prior to this, they served as Country Manager, Korea at Binance from August 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they launched Binance.KR and Binance KRW (BKRW), a Korean Won-backed stablecoin using the Binance Chain BEP2 protocol. Jiho also served as a Guest Lecturer at Ewha Womans University from July 2018 to December 2019, teaching entrepreneurship. Jiho was also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of KRWb by BXB Inc. from June 2018 to June 2020, which was acquired by Binance in 2020. Prior to KRWb, they served as the Co-founder and Chief of Product at Soomgo from April 2016 to July 2018 and as the Product Owner (Senior Product Manager) at Coupang from May 2015 to April 2016. Jiho began their career as a Project Lead (Lead Product Manager) at SK planet from May 2013 to April 2015.

Jiho Kang attended Y Combinator's Winter 2011 batch for startup Wander (a.k.a Yongopal). Jiho then went on to receive their MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in the field of Soomgo. After that, they received their MBA from SKK GSB Sungkyunkwan University. Finally, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Global Management from Kyung Hee University.
