Holly O’Neill

President, Retail Banking at Bank of America

Holly O’Neill is the president of Retail Banking, one of the eight lines of business for Bank of America, and is a member of the company’s executive management team.

In this role, O’Neill is responsible for serving 66 million U.S. consumer and small business clients with a full range of financial products and services through award-winning digital banking capabilities and an unmatched retail banking network. O’Neill also oversees the Community Bank and client experience across the Consumer, Wealth Management and Small Business segments.

O’Neill most recently served as Chief Client Care Executive and Head of Consumer, Small Business & Wealth Management Client Care, providing financial solutions to more than 66 million clients each year. She was also responsible for leading Client Experience across the Consumer and Small Business segments.

Previously, O’Neill served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, overseeing strategic initiatives, business management, risk infrastructure and control, enterprise partnerships, and sales and service effectiveness. Holly also served as the COO for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s Private Banking and Investment Group.

She joined Bank of America in 1996 in the Corporate and Investment Bank, where she spent six years working in various roles including COO of Corporate Banking Group, and earlier as a corporate banker and credit analyst.

O’Neill is active in enterprise-wide efforts as an Executive Sponsor leading awareness and inclusion strategies for the LGBT+ community, individuals with disabilities and women.

She received a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of New Hampshire.
