Sarathy Naicker

CTO & Co-Founder at Klue

Sarathy Naicker is the CTO and co-founder of Klue. Sarathy was previously Chief Technologist at Sophos, where they were responsible for technology vision and evolution in gateway security products. Sarathy developed integration strategy and user experience design for Sophos Cloud, the future cloud products platform for Sophos.

Before Sophos, Naicker was a Senior Developer at ActiveState, where they were involved in all Perl-related products. Sarathy started fixing odds and ends in Perl and eventually fell into managing Perl releases (aka "pumpking" in Perl community-speak) for several Perl 5.5.x and 5.6.x maintenance and release tracks. Sarathy is best known for the native port of Perl to Windows and their work on Perl's threading model.

Sarathy Naicker has a MS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and a MBEM in Building Engineering and Management from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi. Sarathy also has a B Arch in Architectural Design from Anna University.
