Andreas Michaelides, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of psychology. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Clinical Psychologist and Consultant at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where they managed clinical research activities and made significant contributions to grant-funded studies. In 2014, they began working at Noom Inc., initially as a Psychologist and later as the Director of Coaching. Currently, they serve as the Chief of Psychology, playing a key role in driving strategic growth and operational excellence at Noom Inc. Additionally, Andreas has a private practice where they provide psychotherapy services and specializes in treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and other chronic illnesses.

Andreas Michaelides, PhD, completed their education in a chronological order. Andreas earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Sociology from Stony Brook University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued their higher studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Psychology.

In addition to their educational achievements, Andreas has obtained several certifications. Andreas became a Licensed Psychologist in the states of Delaware and New York in October 2013 and October 2020, respectively. Furthermore, they became Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCN) by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in April 2019.
