Marvin Irby is currently the CFO and CPO at PBS. Marvin has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on strategic planning, IT, and administrative functions. Prior to joining PBS, Marvin was the Executive Vice President & CFO at Shawmut Design & Construction, where they were brought in to establish infrastructure to drive future growth. At Shawmut, Marvin oversaw finance, accounting, strategic planning, IT, and administrative functions, and was able to reduce overhead costs through implementation of company-wide cost containment initiatives.

Before joining Shawmut, Marvin spent 9 years at Walt Disney World, where they were eventually named Vice President of Finance. In this role, Marvin was responsible for the financial analysis and decision support function for the Information Technology, Human Resources, and Workforce Strategy units for all Disney Theme Parks Worldwide. Marvin was also instrumental in implementing a $100M enterprise-wide ERP system that replaced dozens of systems impacting 54,000+ employees. Under Marvin's leadership, the transition from a singular business unit governance and support structure to a multi-site, international focus resulted in a 15% reduction in overhead costs.

Marvin's experience and successes have earned him recognition as one of the “Top 50 Under 50” corporate executives by Diversity MBA magazine. Marvin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Marvin Irby's educational career includes an MBA in finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management as well as a BA in psychology and economics from Northwestern University.

They are on a team with Scott Nourse - SVP, Product & Innovation, Sylvia Bugg - Chief of Programming, and Rhonda Holt - SVP, Information Technology. Their manager is Paula Kerger, President & CEO.
