John Marlow

John Marlow serves as Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at RingCentral, where he oversees business and legal affairs, people operations, and facilities. His legal responsibilities include SEC and NYSE compliance; strategic agreements with carriers, including AT&T, TELUS, and BT; intellectual property; regulatory compliance; litigation; and privacy and security matters. His people operations and facilities responsibilities include managing RingCentral talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards (compensation and benefits), HRIS, and facilities teams globally. His corporate development responsibilities include M&A and strategic partnership transactions, and he also previously helped lead RingCentral’s EMEA operations.

Before joining RingCentral, Marlow founded and managed his own law firm and, prior to that, was a partner at Reed Smith, LLP, a Law360 Global 20 firm with more than 1,700 attorneys worldwide.

Marlow received his law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and earned his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Colgate University.
