Ashita Gona

Ashita Gona is a Senior Associate at RMI, working to transition buildings away from fossil fuels in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to their current role, Ashita held positions at Climate Nexus, where Ashita promoted renewable energy narratives, and worked as a freelance writer/researcher contributing to projects like Al Gore's An Inconvenient Sequel. Ashita has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Energy Policy and Climate from The Johns Hopkins University.
