Eric Jaffe is the Editorial Director at Sidewalk Labs. Eric was previously the Senior Director of Communications and Editorial at Sidewalk Labs from July 2021 to April 2022. Eric launched and managed Sidewalk's in-house content studio and communications network that reached 2M+ people a year across core digital media channels (blog, newsletter, podcast, social, website). Eric also guided research and editorial for vision publications, including the 1,500-page master plan for the Sidewalk Toronto project released in 2019. Prior to Sidewalk Labs, they were a columnist at Fast Company from October 2013 to March 2016. Eric was also the New York Bureau Chief at CityLab from January 2015 to March 2016. Eric has also been a contributing editor at CityLab from January 2014 to January 2015 and a contributing writer at CityLab from September 2011 to January 2014. Eric is also a book author and their book was published by Simon & Schuster from January 2008 to January 2014. Prior to that, they were the Associate Web Editor at Smithsonian Magazine from October 2006 to December 2007.

Eric Jaffe received a Master of Science from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
