Françoise Mercadal-Delasalles

CEO Crédit du Nord at Société Générale

Françoise Mercadal-Delasalles has been Chief Executive Officer of Crédit du Nord Group since May 2018. Previously she was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit du Nord Group since 2017. Françoise started her career as a civil administrator in the Budget Department of the French Ministry of Finance. In 1992, she is appointed Environment Sector Manager of BNP's International Project Financing Department. She was Deputy Director of the Europe Bureau of the Budget Department of the French Ministry of Finance from 1995 to 2002 when she joined Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations as Deputy Head of IT. In 2003, she is appointed Assistant to the Secretary General of the Caisse des Dépôts Group, in charge of management controlling, IT systems and general resources, before taking on responsibility for the Group strategic plan. She joined Societe Generale in 2009 as Group Head of Resources and Innovation.

Françoise has BA in Literature and Law and is a graduate from IEP Paris (Institute of Political Studies) and ENA (National School of Administration).
