Lamine Zarrad

Lamine Zarrad has an extensive work experience in the financial and technology sectors. Lamine began their career in 2010 as an Investment Specialist at USAA. In 2013, they became an Equity Research Analyst at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. and then in 2014, they joined the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as an Associate National Bank Examiner and then Assistant National Bank Examiner. In 2016, they founded Tokken, a platform that empowers consumers with an easy-to-use and secure payment option. In 2018, they joined Plug and Play Tech Center as a Startup Founder in their FinTech Batch 8. In 2019, they joined Techstars as a Startup Founder for their Boulder 2019 program. In 2020, they joined ZenBusiness via the acquisition of Joust, where they had previously been Co-founder & CEO, CPO. At ZenBusiness, they stepped into a leadership role as head of product, serving as an interim CPO. Since taking over the product organization, they have repositioned the company from a formations focused service to as a full-scale platform designed to help entrepreneurs start, run, and grow their businesses. Lamine also led an in-depth "brand dig" that resulted in a complete brand overhaul. In 2022, they became both Founder and CEO of Stellar and a Limited Partner at The Fund.

Lamine Zarrad's education history includes a Masters in Public Policy from The University of Texas at Austin, Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Harvard University, a Summer Semester in Sustainability Studies from Universidad Albert Einstein, and a High School Diploma from Lakeside High School. Lamine also holds several certifications, including the Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Examination Qualification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) obtained in May 2008, the Series 7 General Securities Representative License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) obtained in April 2008, an Air Assault Badge from the US Army, a Basic Sail Trim Course, Skipper Course, and Maneuver Under Power Clinic from NauticEd - The World's Most Advanced Sailing Education and Sailing Certification, a Combat Journalism Program from the Defense Information School, a Fallschirmspringerabzeichen (Jump Wings) from the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces), an Open Water Diver from NAUI Worldwide, a Parachutist Badge from the US Army, and a TS/SCI Clearance (expired) from the United States Department of Defense.
