Hernán García

VP, Talent & Culture at Tecnológico de Monterrey

Hernán García is a business executive who specializes in human resources and talent management. Hernán is currently the VP Talent and Culture at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Prior to this, they served on the board of directors for Fultra from June 2019 to February 2021.

García has also held positions at Asociación Mexicana en Dirección de Recursos Humanos (AMEDIRH), Coppel S.A., SAP SuccessFactors, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Philip Morris International, and Interceramic. Hernán began their career in 1995 as the Director HR Customer Service for CEMEX.

Hernán also has an MBA from Madrid Business School. Finally, Hernán García holds a LEM from Tecnológico de Monterrey in the field of Marketing.

Hernán García reports to David Garza, Rector and Executive President. They are on a team with Héctor Escamilla - Rector of the Tecmilenio University, Guillermo Torre - Rector of TecSalud, and Inés Sáenz - VP of Inclusion, Social Impact and Sustainability.
