Lisa Surnow

Lisa Surnow has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lisa is currently working as the Head of Corporate Operations at The Boring Company since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operations at Subject from July 2022 to January 2023, where they focused on advancing education quality and equity through technology. Before that, Lisa worked at CloudKitchens as the US&C Head of Customer Onboarding Operations from May 2020 to July 2021, where they focused on building lean operation teams and scalable processes. Lisa also has experience at Uber as a Senior Operations Manager from September 2018 to May 2020, and at Local Roots Farms as an Operations Manager from August 2017 to September 2018. Additionally, Lisa has worked as a Project Assessor/Environmental Scientist at Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. from July 2015 to April 2018. Lisa also has experience in various research assistant roles at Subtidal Ecology and Ecotoxicology Laboratory and University of Michigan Limnology Ecotoxicology Laboratory. Furthermore, Lisa has served as a Brand Manager at Cooper Street Cookies and as a Brand Ambassador at KIND.

Lisa Surnow has a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree from the University of Michigan, where they studied Environmental Science, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Geology. Additionally, they participated in a study abroad semester at UNSW, focusing on Environmental Science.
