Lavar Charleston

LaVar J. Charleston is currently serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Vice Provost, and Chief Diversity Officer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to this, LaVar was a Clinical Professor and Associate Dean for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the School of Education at the same university. LaVar J. has also held positions such as Assistant Vice Chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Assistant Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. LaVar has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
