Xavier Dupont

President, Powertrain Systems Business Group at Valeo

Xavier Dupont has been with Valeo since 2006, serving in various managerial roles. Xavier is currently the President of the Powertrain Systems Business Group.

Dupont started with Valeo as the General Manager for the WW manual clutch product line. Xavier was responsible for the WW development for a product line and in charge from the sales development to the operating margin improvement.

In 2010, they became the Transmissions Product Group Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for the overall management of the transmissions product group. This included developing and executing strategies, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring quality control.

Dupont was promoted to their current position in December 2011. As President of the Powertrain Systems Business Group, they are responsible for Valeo's global powertrain systems business. This includes managing all aspects of the business, from product development to manufacturing to sales and marketing.

They are on a team with Catherine Delhaye - Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, Andreas Heinrich - Regional Director Germany , and Eric Schuler - President, Valeo Service Activity. Xavier Dupont reports to Christophe Périllat, CEO.
