Anke D'Angelo

Anke D'Angelo is currently the Vice President and Auditor General at World Bank Group, where Anke oversees the Internal Audit Department. Prior to this, Anke held various positions at New China Life Insurance Co., Ltd., and Swiss Re, including Director General Manager Office Beijing, Chief Compliance Officer, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and Director of Group Internal Audit. With a strong background in compliance, finance, and accounting, Anke has demonstrated expertise in developing strategies, managing teams, and implementing internal control frameworks. Anke holds a Master's degree in Insurance and an MBA in Business Administration with a focus on Insurance, Auditing, Accounting, and Market-and Advertising Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
