Alexander Juhl Bendt joins The Org as Head of Design
Alexander Juhl Bendt has joined The Org as Head of Design where he will be responsible for the platform's visual identity, branding, and user experience. He was previously Head of Design at Rainmaking's venture studio where he was part of a team building an insurance company called Undo. Bendt brings extensive experience building world-class consumer products.
Andreas Jarbøl, CTO & co-Founder of The Org, said: "I've had the pleasure of working with Alex on numerous projects already and he always manages to produce very elegant and creative designs and user experiences. I'm very excited to have him onboard in Copenhagen and take our visual appeal and product to the next level."
After being involved in a number of design projects in high school, Bendt decided to gain more hands-on experience, and apply his skills on real projects instead of sitting in a classroom. He applied for, and got, a 3-year internship with the talented people at digital design studio In2media - now known as Charlie Tango - and combined it with a degree in Graphic Design from Copenhagen Technical College. He got his first taste of the startup world when he joined Fitbay, a social fashion start-up, which is also where he met Christian and Andreas, the founders of The Org.
In a statement, Bendt said: "I've known and worked with the founders of The Org in other setups, and knowing what they represent, both professionally and personally, was a big part of me accepting a position at The Org. The flexibility to work on a lot of different projects, and really influence both the product and the brand was very important to me. I feel really optimistic and excited about the direction they're taking the company, and I wanted to be part of that journey and help take The Org to the next stage."
