Ernst & Young appoints new Managing Partner for US-West region
EY has announced the appointment of Frank Mahoney as Region Managing Partner for the US-West. Mahoney has spent more than three decades with the firm and most recently served as the Americas Vice Chair for Assurance where he led 20,000 audit, financial and reporting professionals.
In his new role, Mahoney is responsible for driving market leadership, developing and retaining talent, creating high-performing teams and providing exceptional client service for a regional practice of 10,000 professionals spanning 18 states and 27 offices. He also serves as a senior advisory partner for several of the region’s largest clients and continues to serve on the US Executive Committee and the Americas Operating Executive.
“Frank has spent decades at EY building a stellar reputation as an inclusive leader with a deep understanding of our business,” said Kelly Grier, EY US Chairman and Managing Partner and Americas Managing Partner. “He is the ideal person to ensure our teams deliver exceptional client service in our fastest-growing market.”
Mahoney succeeds Kay Matthews and Randy Cain, Region Managing Partners of the West and Southwest, who retired in June 2019 after more than 35 years with the firm.
