The veteran product management and marketing executive joins the company shortly after the announcement of EdgeOps DataMesh, the first product of its next-generation adaptive AI software platform EdgeOps. The company’s new product will likely benefit from his more than 25 years of experience developing, selling, and marketing products supporting Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
Hullum joins from Smart Embedded Computing, where he served as President and General Manager. He also spent 4 years at Intel and headed up the tech giant’s IOT Industrial Segment as its General Manager. The bulk of Hullum’s experience comes from GE, where he spent 17 years climbing the corporate ladder before leaving as the CMO for GE Power.
"Chet is an exceptional talent and a proven leader, and we're delighted to bring his skills and experience to the Adapdix senior management team,” Adapdix CEO Anthony Hill said in a press release. “He has demonstrated his capabilities over his many years at Intel, GE and elsewhere, and I look forward to seeing his creativity and positive impact as we develop and market our transformational Edge AI solutions."
Adapdix announced an $8 million Series A funding round in December 2020, which it quickly followed up with additional funding from SoftBank's Opportunity Fund. Following this influx of cash, the startup has brought on a slew of new talent.
