Executive Profile: Vispera CTO and COO Ceyhun Burak Akgül

Vispera, a company that is creating image recognition and analytics solutions for the retail sector, recognizes Ceyhun Burak Akgül for outstanding leadership and contributions to the company.

Based out of Istanbul, Ceyhun is a co-founder of Vispera and serves as its CTO and COO. In his role, he manages the company’s R&D, operations, and customer success teams.

Ceyhun is also an adjunct Faculty at Boğaziçi University, where he has taught classes on data mining for visual media and image analysis. He also serves as a Technical Advisor to Flavourspace, a Dutch company that is creating consumer-centric AI solutions to enhance the personalization of food choices and customer interaction.

In fact, he taught graduate-level courses like 'Emergence in Design Computing', 'Digital Shape', 'Data mining for architecture and urban planning' at an architecture school combining his knowledge of architecture with his theoretical knowledge.”
