Getty Images Names Publishing Industry Vet As Next Finance Chief

Getty Images, the visual media company that is known for its vast collection of stock images, editorial photography, video, and music, named its next Chief Financial Officer, Milena Alberti-Perez. She will officially step into her new office in New York City in 2021.

"Milena brings to Getty Images more than 20 years of leadership, a breadth of experience and a proven track record of results," said CEO Craig Peters. "I look forward to Milena's voice on the executive team and to her contributions as Chief Financial Officer as we continue to evolve Getty Images and deliver against our goals."

Alberti-Perez will join Getty from independent advertising technology company MediaMath where she has served as the company’s CFO since January 2020. She has deep financial experience in the media industry and held a series of high-profile roles over her 16-years at Penguin Random House, including CFO. The Harvard Business School graduate also advised Random House in the merger of Penguin and Random House, which was the largest transaction in book publishing history.

Alberti-Perez said she is thrilled to be joining Getty Images a an important moment in time and that she looks forward to "being a part of Getty Images' leadership team, guiding its finance organization and contributing to future business success as we take Getty Images into the next 25 years."
