The mobile quiz show, HQ Trivia, is reportedly looking for a new CEO after half of the company’s staff signed an internal petition to depose CEO Rus Yusupov who they saw as mismanaging the company. Yusupov recently fired Scott Rogowsky, the game's popular host, because the company wouldn't allow him to work two jobs.

Rogowsky recently accepted a new job hosting a baseball show called "Change Up" on DAZN. According to TMZ, "Scott was trying to work out an arrangement to stay on as the weekend host for HQ, but CEO Rus Yusupov wouldn't budge." In a statement on Twitter, Rogowsky said: "Sadly, it won’t be possible for me to continue hosting HQ concurrently as I had hoped, and because I wasn’t given the courtesy of a farewell show, please allow me to use this thread to say all the things I would have said on my final broadcast."

It seems that the firing of Rogowsky is just a symptom of the internal turmoil at HQ Trivia. Yusupov took over as CEO following the tragic passing of the company's CEO & co-founder, Colin Kroll, due to a drug overdose. According to TechCrunch, Yusupov's public behaviour was growing increasingly eratic and "with HQ’s bank account full, sources say Yusupov was extremely slow to make decisions, allowing HQ to stagnate."

This led half of the company's staff to sign an internal petition asking the board to remove Yusupov and hire a new CEO. According to multiple sources, Yusupov has accepted the need for a new CEO who will have full autonomy on how to run the company including Yusupov's role at the company.
