LendingTree has announced the appointment of Laura Yens as the company's new General Counsel following the retirement of Kate Pierce in August 2018. Yens was most recently at the law firm Alston & Bird, where she advised senior management at global banks and FinTech companies in the US and internationally.

"After an extensive search for LendingTree's next General Counsel, I'm thrilled to welcome Laura to the LendingTree team," said Doug Lebda, founder and CEO of LendingTree. "Laura's extensive experience with building and managing legal teams at technology-driven organizations will undoubtedly be an invaluable asset to our company and its continued growth."

Yens will oversee and manage all legal functions at LendingTree and report to Doug Lebda.
