Shutterfly, the leading US digital retailer of personalized photo products, has announced Vivian Liu as its new senior vice president and CFO.

Liu was previously CFO at US printer company Lexmark International, where she sponsored Lexmark’s China expansion strategy, and drove strategic initiatives for a company-wide turnaround. Prior to Lexmark, Liu served as VP of finance, Enterprise BG, for Huawei, and spent eight years in finance positions with Cisco.

Shutterfly CEO Hilary Schneider said in a statement that Liu is the ideal candidate to drive Shutterfly’s long-term growth. “Vivian has a successful background with world-class companies, both public and privately-held, and has a proven track record in driving business transformation with financial success," she said.

“Having recently entered the private market, Shutterfly is in a unique position to build a strong foundation for transformational investment. I couldn’t be more excited to help Shutterfly write this next chapter of growth.” Commented Liu.

Shutterfly went public in 2006, but recently returned to private ownership when private equity firm Apollo Global Management acquired it for $2.7 billion in September 2019.

Liu takes over the role of CFO on April 23.
