HSBC has reportedly hired Citigroup’s Willard McLane as its new Head of Global Corporate Development. According to sources cited by Bloomberg, McLane will help develop HSBC’s strategic initiatives, including searching for acquisition opportunities and technology partnerships. Source | Full Story

Jefferies has poached Armando Rubio-Alvarez fromCredit Suisse. He will take charge of Jefferies’ European responsibilities and lead the bank’s coverage of some of its largest and most important financial clients. Source | Full Story

AIG's Chief Investment Officer, Douglas Dachille, will relinquish the role he has held since 2015 to Geoff Cornell at the end of the month. Source | Full Story

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Barry Halpin as Regional Director in London, United Kingdom. Prior to this role, he was the Head of EMEA Service Directors within BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. Source

JLL announced that Tina Ju was elected to serve as an independent, non-executive member of its Board of Directors. Ju is a founding, managing and general partner of KPCB China and TDF Capital. Source

Freddie Mac announced that its Board of Directors has named Michael J. DeVito as its new CEO, effective June 1. Source

Evercore named Celeste Mellet Brown as its CFO, effective September 1, 2021. Most recently Brown served as EVP and CFO of Fannie Mae. Source

Northern Trust has named Angelo Calvitto as Head of Asia-Pacific. Calvitto was most recently the country head for Northern Trust in Australia. Source

Transamerica appointed of Christopher Ashe as its CFO. Ashe joins Transamerica from New York Life Insurance Company where he served as CFO for foundational businesses. Source

Mountain America Credit Union appointed Amy Moser as its Chief Lending Officer. Amy replaces Mike Turner, who is retiring on June 4, 2021. Source

OCC has hired of David Ye as Chief Risk Officer and a member of OCC’s Management Committee. Ye is an Executive in Residence at Duke University. Before joining OCC, he also served in a variety of leadership roles including Chief Risk Officer at Guardian Life Insurance of America. Source

Five Star Bank CEO James Beckwithhas been electedto the Board of Directors of Western Bankers Association (WBA) effective June 1, 2021. Source

Greystone has appointed Marc Fox as CFO. Fox joins from Ladder Capital Finance, where he served as CFO for 12 years. Source

Peapack-Gladstone Bank announce the appointment of Neil Viotto as SVP, Director of Residential and Consumer Lending. He most recently served as Vice President, Mortgage Originations Manager, Compliance Officer at Somerset Savings Bank. Source

Texas Capital Bank has named Joe Valenzuela as Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI), effective May 19, 2021; Don Goin as Chief Information Officer, effective May 27, 2021; and Madison Simm as President of Mortgage Finance, following the retirement of Jack Nunnery, effective August 2, 2021. First Farmers Financial Corp. added Jennifer E. Jones, CEO and Co-Owner of Royal Title Services and Roland K. Winger, Sr. Vice President of Allakos, Inc to its board on May 11, 2021. Source
