Citigroup has formed a “super group” of investment bankers focused on deal-making in the healthcare and wellness industries, which will now be led by former Goldman Sachs Partner Chuck Adams. Source | Full Story

HSBC has placed David Liao and Surendra Rosha in charge of its Asia Pacific division. The two new Co-CEOs take over from Peter Wong, who has announced his decision to retire and will transition to be the non-executive Chairman of HBAP. Source | Full Story

JPMorgan Chase announced the launch of J.P. Morgan Private Capital, which will be led by Brian Carlin, previously CEO of the bank's Wealth Management Solutions, with Rick Smith, former Head of Private Investments at JPMorgan Chase, serving as Chairman of the group, and Meg McClellan, serving as the Head of Private Debt. State Street appointed of Jason Knight as Global Head of the firm’s Insurance segment. Knight joins State Street from BNY Mellon, where he was most recently the head of the Insurance Segment in the Americas for Asset Servicing. Source

AIG revealed Quentin McMillan will join the company as VP, Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations, effective June 7, 2021. McMillan joins AIG from Marsh McLennan where he served as Senior Director, Investor Relations. Source

Northwestern Mutual has named Jennifer Brase to serve as Managing Partner of its Omaha, Nebraska office. Brase has been with Northwestern Mutual in a variety of roles since she first joined in 1990. Source

Advisors Asset Management announced that Clifford Corso has joined as President and Chief Investment Officer, effective June 1st. Previously, Corso worked at Insight Investment as Executive Chairman, North America. Source

First Republic Bank announced that Terance Takyi has joined First Republic Investment Management in New York City. Before joining First Republic, he was a Vice President at JP Morgan and worked as Private Client Advisor at Goldman Sachs. Source

LendingClub has promoted Ronnie Momen to serve as its first Chief Consumer Banking Officer and hired David Bolocan to serve as the Senior Vice President of Deposits and Payments, Amber Carroll to serve as the Senior Vice President of Membership & Lifecycle Marketing, and Jamie Armistead to serve as the Vice President of Product Management. Greystone revealed that Niraj Patel has been named Chief Information Officer and Head of the firm’s technology organization. He joins Greystone from DMI, where he served as Global Head of Artificial Intelligence and Analytics. Source

Customers Bank has hired Joseph M. Pennini as Managing Director and Head of Fund Finance. Additionally, Marya Savola will join Pennini’s Fund Finance team as Vice President and Credit Portfolio Manager. Source

Customers Bank has promoted Jennifer Frost to EVP and Chief Administrative Officer. Frost will also join the Management Board. Source

KBW has named Matthew (Matt) Kelley as Director of Research, based in New York. Kelley was previously a Principal and Director of Research at Sirios Capital Management. Source

CDF Capital's President and CEO Dusty Rubeck recently announced his plan to retire from his current role. In his place, Eric R. Schroeder, a long-time member of the CDF Capital Board, has been appointed as the new President and CEO, effective July 1, 2021. Source

BancTrust & Co. has hired Melton Plummer as ED Fixed Income Sales and Jeremy Godfrey as ED Fixed Income Sales to focus on high beta Global Emerging Markets. Source

Tiedemann Advisors announced that Jed Emerson has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Global Lead of Impact Investing. He has served on Tiedemann’s Impact Advisory Council for the last three years. Source

Royal Park Partners has appointed John Clark as Senior Director to lead its U.S. operations, a newly created position. Source
