Apple hired Ulrich Kranz to help with the development of the Apple Car. Kranz was formerly the CEO of Canoo and prior to that was a senior executive at BMW’s electric car division. Source | Full Story

Twitter has appointed Mimi Alemayehou to its Board of Directors. Alemayehou joins the social media giant’s board alongside the departure of Jesse Cohn, a Partner at Elliott Management, one of Twitter’s largest shareholders. Source | Full Story

Facebook's VP of Global Business, Carolyn Everson, announced that she has left the company after more than a decade. Everson's role as the head of the Facebook's global business teams will temporarily be filled by its VP for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Nicola Mendelsohn. Source | Full Story

Lordstown Motors has announced that its CEO and CFO have both stepped down from the company after a new special report from a board committee found inaccurate disclosures about its truck preorders. As a result, Angela Strand, Lead Independent Director, has been appointed to Executive Chairwoman and will oversee the company’s transition until a permanent CEO is identified. Source | Full Story

Wipro announced the appointment of Anup Purohit as its CIO. Purohit was most recently the CIO of Yes Bank. Source

Inseego promoted Ashish Sharma to President. Sharma most recently served as Inseego's President of IoT & Mobile Solutions. Source

Akamai Technologies appointed Boaz Gelbord as SVP and Chief Security Officer. He has also served in Chief Information and Security Officer positions at Dun & Bradstreet, Bloomberg LP and Amplify Education. Source

Ceridian promoted Bill McDonald from Corporate Secretary to EVP and General Counsel effective July 1, 2021. Source

Coupa Software promoted Todd Ford from CFO to President of Finance and Operations. The company also announced that Tony Tiscornia was promoted from Chief Accounting Officer to CFO. Source

Persistent hired Suresh Prabhu as Chief Delivery Officer for Industry Verticals. Prabhu joins Persistent from Epicor Software, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of on-premise and SaaS solutions. Source

Ocugen hired Michael Shine as SVP of Commercial. Shine has held leadership positions within large pharmaceutical companies, including Novapharm Therapeutics, Colgate Oral Pharmaceutical, and Pfizer Vaccines. Source

Secureworks announced its plans to promote its current President of Customer Success, Wendy K. Thomas, to President and CEO, effective September 3, 2021. Source

Invitae appointed Roxi Wen as its CFO, effective June 21, 2021. Wen previously served as CFO at Mozilla Corporation. Source

authID hired Tom Thimot as CEO and Tripp Smith as President and CTO. Thimot was previously the CEO of Socure and Smith was the CTO at Clarity Insights, which is now Accenture AI. Source

Exasol appointed Jan-Dirk Henrich as CFO. Henrich joins Exasol from New Work SE. Source

Absolute Software hired Edward Choi as SVP of Global Alliances. Choi most recently led Samsung’s mobile alliances and business development team. Source

Bright Minds hired Tom Lategan as VP of Regulatory Affairs. Most recently, Lategan served as VP of Regulatory Affairs for Banner Life Sciences. Source

Talkspace has selected Dr. Varun Choudhary as its new Chief Medical Officer to help scale its clinical practice and network of providers. Dr. Choudhary is a board-certified forensic psychiatrist, with a specialty in telepsychiatry, population health, collaborative care, quality metrics and autism/intellectual disabilities. Zomato has officially named its CFO, Akriti Chopra, as a Co-Founder of the company. Source

Karat added Rachael Granby to its leadership team as VP of Interview Delivery. Prior to joining Karat, Granby served as the Head of Product and Client General Manager at Wonder. Source

AnyClip has hired Kirk Iwanowski as CMO. Iwanowski was previously the CMO of Epix. Source

Spotzer has hired Hans Kwa as its new CFO. Source

Hathway hired Kimberlee May as AVP of People and Culture. May was previously Senior Director, Human Resources at DJO Global, Alliance RX and Prime Therapeutics. Source

Diamanti named Chris Hickey as CEO. Hickey joins from Quark Software, where he has served as CEO since January 2019. Source

Adverity promoted Harriet Durnford-Smith from VP of Marketing and Growth to CMO. The company also elevated Christina Schlesinger from VP of Sales & Account Management to Chief Customer Officer. Source

Seismic appointed Heather Cook as VP of Asia-Pacific. Cook previously held executive management roles at marketing technology companies including Hootsuite, Marketo (now part of Adobe), Oracle, and Dell. Source

Rapyd hired Casey Bullock as Chief Revenue Officer, Revital Lavie Cohen as Global Vice President of HR, and has promoted LeAnne Hoang to Global Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. Source

Quantcast hired Valerie Junger as Chief People Officer. Junger previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hillspire. Source

Reven Holdings promoted Brian Denomme, Reven's Co-Founder and former COO, to President and hired Daniel Hoffman as COO. Hoffman was most recently the Chief of Design for a medical device company. Source
