Instacart revealed Facebook veteran Fidji Simo will take over as CEO, while current CEO Apoorva Mehta will transition to become the company’s Executive Chairman. Source | Full Story

Facebook has elevated longtime executive Tom Alison to run its core social media app. Alison had been a VP of Engineering at Facebook and supported engineering and product management for the News Feed, monetization, sharing, search, news, integrity, and its core experience teams. Netflix has hired N’Jeri Eaton as its first Head of Podcasts. She will start later this month and had been the former Head of Content for Apple Podcasts. Source | Full Story

LinkedIn has quietly named James Chuong as its new Chief Finacial Officer, replacing longtime finance chief Steve Sordello. Chuong first joined Linkedin in 2013 and has since served in several senior finance positions including his most recent post as VP Finance, Global Monetization. Source | Full Story

Match Group-owned Hinge has made the move to promote Michelle Parsons to Chief Product Officer, allowing its current CPO, Tim MacGougan, to take on the newly-created Chief Design Officer role. Source | Full Story

Amazon hired Tony Hoggett as SVP of Physical Stores effective January 2022. Hoggett joins from Tesco where he was Chief Strategy Officer. Source

Intel hired Shlomit Weiss as SVP and Co-General Manager of the Design Engineering Group. Weiss was previously SVP of Silicon Engineering at Mellanox. Source

Wish appointed Farhang Kassaei as CTO. Kassaei was previously Senior Director of Software Engineering at Google. Source

Tonal has recruited ex-Calm legal exec M. Andrea Soria as its first-ever Director of Legal Soria was the top legal executive at wellness app Calm until she left around a year ago. Source | Full Story

H1 has hired Dr. Mohak Shah as its SVP of Data Science and Machine Learning. An AI and machine learning veteran, Shah was previously the VP of AI and ML at LG Electronics, where he served for over three years. Source | Full Story

Adapdix has named Chet Hullum as its new VP of Product Strategy and Marketing. He joins from Smart Embedded Computing, where he served as President and General Manager. Source | Full Story

Quantcast hired Min-Jae Lee as its Chief Privacy Officer. Lee joins Quantcast from The Trade Desk where he served as Lead Privacy Counsel. Source

Pipedrive appointed Laurence Capone as CFO. Capone previously worked in ADP where she served as CFO across multiple business units and functions over the last 20 years. Source

OneTrust hired Lisa Campbell as CMO effective July 19th, 2021. Campbell previously served as Autodesk's CMO and EVP of Business Strategy & Marketing. Source
