Under Armour Names its New Chief Product Officer

Under Armour has named Lisa Collier as its new Chief Product Officer, in the latest executive shake up at the Baltimore-based sporting goods company.

Collier most recently served as president and CEO of jean company NYDJ from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, she held numerous positions over her 13-year career with Levi's Strauss & Co, including Chief Transformation Officer.

Collier will take over the role on April 27. Reporting directly to the CEO, she will be responsible for steering key parts of Under Armour's business, including its merchandising and design strategies. Collier will succeed Kevin Eskridge, who resigned as Chief Product Officer last month, after 10 years working at the company. Eskridge will depart the company in August, to assist with the transition of the role.

Under Armour President and CEO Patrik Frisk said Collier was an exciting addition to the Under Armour leadership team. "Her strength as a retail leader will be invaluable as we continue to execute against our long-term strategies and work to deliver performance solutions you never knew you needed and can't imagine living without." he said.

Frisk took over the CEO post from founder Kevin Plank in January, and several key executive changes have been made since then. Earlier this month, Diane Pelkey, the company’s SVP of Communications, exited the company after 12 years. Colin Browne, formerly Chief Supply Chain Officer, was elevated to Chief Operating Officer, and Paul Fipps, the former Chief Digital Officer, was named as the new role of Chief Experience Officer.
