Nissan exec Jose Munoz resigns as crisis deepens, Accenture Chairman & CEO Pierre Nanterme steps down for health reasons, and Twilio names Chee Chew as Chief Product Officer.

2019 is off to flying start with some significant executive changes during the first work week of the new year. Remember that you can stay updated on the latest personnel news by logging in to The Org and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter to stay updated on the latest executive changes.

The big story continues to be the crisis at Nissan following Chairman Carlos Ghosn being accused of concealing millions of dollars in personal income and using company assets for his own benefit. Last week, Ghosn made his first public appearance since his arrest and declared that he was 'wrongly accused and unfairly detained’. Ghosn shouldn’t expect to be released anytime soon though as he could spend the next year in Tokyo jail awaiting trial. Most recently, Ghosn’s confidant resigned from Nissan after a leave of absence.
