Dinesh Popat

As President of BloomNet, Dinesh is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the leading international floral and gift industry service provider, operated by 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. BloomNet offers a broad range of products and services designed to help members grow their businesses profitably. Dinesh also oversees the 1-800-Flowers.com florist affiliate business, as well as Napco, a resource for wholesale floral gifts and seasonal décor.

Dinesh has extensive experience in business transformation and marketing strategy, with a proven track record in brand development and product positioning. Under his leadership, BloomNet has continually exceeded the expectations of its community of thousands of members that rely on its unique personalized service, comprehensive offerings, innovative programs, and quality products.

Prior to joining 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. in 2019, Dinesh served as Chief Marketing Officer for Prescriptive Insights, where he helped companies in the Consumer-Packaged Goods and Direct Selling channels develop growth strategies. Before working for Prescriptive Insights, Dinesh spent more than 30 years with Avon Products Inc. and was responsible for all representative and customer-facing activities as well as the company’s adoption and implementation of digital products. As its Chief Representative Officer, Dinesh transformed the end-to-end experience for hundreds of thousands of sales representatives and was instrumental in the company’s turnaround to profitability.

Dinesh has a B.A. in Business Studies from the University of Sunderland, UK.
