Don is the founder of 1-StopAsia, which got started more than 20 years ago. He’s truly dedicated to his dream and he’s very much involved in the management of the company. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Korean Language & Literature from Busan University. After working as a translator and interpreter for the US Army, he set up his small translation business in 1995.

Don Shin

Ian is the manager of the United States Office and he oversees all US-based operations.

Originally, he studied Industrial Management Engineering, specializing in data programming before switching his focus to the localization industry.

While originally new to the industry, he brings a unique and valuable perspective gained through his various experience in different fields – as diverse as writing, education, engineering, non-profit and supply chain analysis.

When Ian isn’t working, he enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and obtaining new skills.

Ian Shin

Yana is one of the most valuable assets we have at 1-StopAsia. She holds a key position and is responsible for the strategic planning and business development of the company.

Besides growing the size of our branch in Plovdiv by a factor of five within her two years as General Manager, Yana takes care of a handful of her own businesses with a total of almost 100 employees – all before getting to work at eight o’clock sharp.

Her biggest strength, however, is likely in the management of her team. Always ready to help, she motivates her colleagues to grow and push their boundaries.

However, just like with other business partners and clients, she is an excellent negotiator and can strike spectacular deals that prove to be sustainable and beneficial for all parties involved.

Her current hobbies and interests: riding motorbikes and horses off-road, traveling, experiencing new cultures, as well as finishing her Master’s Degree in Automation, Information and Technology.

Yana Dinchiyska

Tracy was the first employee hired in our China office. Fifteen years ago, she joined 1-StopAsia, and although she was away for a few years; the company has always been her ideal career. After coming back to us three years ago, she’s consistently served as the general manager of our main Chinese office. She’s responsible for maintaining and improving the communication and coordination of all the teams within all Chinese offices.

She majored in English Language, and she has a lot of experience in English-Chinese translation, which influenced her mild style of management. At the same time, she loves to obtain knowledge in other fields as well. Her wish is to better help and serve all of our employees so they can grow together in our company.

Tracy loves spending time with her family whenever she has free time. Her hobbies also include reading various books, watching movies and traveling to calm and serene locations in nature, such as grasslands or deserts.

Tracy Shang

Katya might be easily named as one of the most valuable assets of the 1-StopAsia team. Since joining the company, she has met various aspects of the translation industry and tackled numerous tricky affairs. Starting her career in 1-StopAsia as a Trainer she has climbed the ladder by doing a remarkable job in her previous positions as a Vendor Manager, Human Resource Manager and Head of EU production. Thanks to her, we pride ourselves with a great team in Europe – or as we like to say – family. By slowly and steadily developing in the company, Katya has grown into a highly valued professional in her field and an ambassador of the 1-StopAsia`s guidelines and beliefs.

But that is not all that we love in her personality! She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a focus on Internal Corporate Communications and has a superb background in training and development of employees. She is intrigued by how complex the industry is and believes that the most important thing is to get acquainted with its numerous layers. Katya manages to achieve that by treating every aspect of her job with extra care, building a light atmosphere and a healthy working environment.

In her position as а Global Production Director, she incorporates all her experience gained so far along the way. She has the knack for details and she can easily find a solution to any situation. Being a great listener her door is always open and she is ready to listen to everyone.

But don’t get distracted by her everpresent smile, she is a critical thinker and a problem-solver. She is not afraid of innovations and changes, always ready to improve and lead the team to even better performance than the one they have.

Katya has multiple interests – ranging from traveling to jewelry-making. She enjoys the serenity of yoga practice and the peace it brings her to mind. If you take a moment to ask her about her dreams she will tell you about her endless plans to travel the world with just a backpack and a Kindle. She would like to publish at least one book until she turns 40 and we are all looking forward to reading her masterpiece!

Katya Danova

She’s probably one of our most active colleagues. This goes for both inside the office and outside of it. Gergana is one of the driving forces in 1-StopAsia. She uses her years of experience in sales and marketing to keep 1-StopAsia ahead of the game. The knowledge she has comes from working for some of the biggest corporations in the world.

She’s a never ending source of ideas, strategies and funny stories. She works at our European office in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Gergana aims to be one of the bridges between our offices throughout the world. With a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering, she has a really detailed and structured approach to her work – which the effectiveness of her campaigns speaks for.

Some of her current hobbies and interests: Paragliding, running marathons, mountain biking, reading books, rock climbing and many other extreme sports.

Gergana Toleva

Tissana is taking a leadership position in our Global Internal Communication for our organization. She’s also one of the valuable additions in our Marketing Department both at the global level, and for our 1-StopAsia Thailand office, where she originally started from.

Her deep knowledge in Marketing and Sales comes from a history of taking on leadership roles in the retail industry. Skilled in Marketing Management, Integrated Marketing, Advertising, PR and Sales, she also has a strong passion for people, communication and different cultures. She always strive for self-improvement.

Tissana loves traveling, especially to the beach and discovering local areas. She also enjoys baking, diving and watching movies or Netflix.

Tissana Wateesatogkij

Alisa is the Production Director and shift leader in the China office. She is responsible for communication and coordination of production. She joined 1-StopAsia in 2016, managing the Project Manager team and Engineering team in China.

Alisa has over 10 years of experience in the localization industry, deep understanding i18n, and l10n process and methodology. She has excellent interpersonal skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

Alisa has many hobbies, includes watching Korean movies and TV dramas. She also loves exploring different countries and cultures.

Alisa Jin

Sandy Pranoto is our Global Account Manager from our USA office. Her core responsibility is to manage the entire Account Management team for the USA East coast. She is one of our tremendously valued support specialists and has over a decade of experience in customer service. Her passion for helping others combines perfectly with her understanding of the needs of our clients. Being excellent and empathetic at supporting our teams, she’s cherished by all of our colleagues at 1-StopAsia.

She grew up in Indonesia but has been living in the US for the past 13 years. Having the experience of growing up in different parts of the world has exposed her to multiple cultures, which helps her to understand the diverse social and cultural factors we work with on a daily basis. She has German and Indonesian ancestry, which gives her a unique advantage when it comes to understanding the differences between Asian and Western cultures.

Sandy Pranoto

Nicolas is one of our Account Project Managers, and he’s mainly working with our partners from France.

Born and raised in France, his enthusiasm for languages and discovery led him to travel, study, work and live in Ireland, Greece, Scotland, Germany – and eventually Bulgaria, where he settled at 1-StopAsia.

A polyglot, holder of a Maîtrise in English Civilization and Literature, and a License in French as a Foreign Language, his main interests revolve around yet another language: that of music, which he enjoys listening to as well as creating himself.

Project management, client orientation, proactivity, and quality service have been the Ariane’s thread he’s been holding on to throughout his professional experience. He’s still managing to do that with us at 1-StopAsia.

Nicola Alcaraz

Sam is the Key Account Solution Provider for the United Kingdom at 1-StopAsia. Even though the title is a mouthful, it’s quite simple: he’s a clear bridge of communication for our partners. That includes developing new relationships, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions.

Sam has years of experience in customer service and a lot of experience as a sales executive. These have provided him with the knowledge necessary to support our partners in every business aspect. The methodical approach Sam takes towards his work assures all tasks are accomplished – and all of them accomplished to the highest standard possible within the given time frame. If you need someone responsible, someone, with attention to detail and someone that delivers consistent results, Sam is your guy. That’s what makes him such a great asset for our team.

All of the above doesn’t do him enough credit for the creativity, enthusiasm, and passion he shows whenever he’s working.

When Sam isn’t working, he enjoys going to the gym, watching movies, and playing video games. He also happens to be avid MMA enthusiast. Recently married, him and his wife are now enjoying their honeymoon period!

Sam Hardy

Nina is our Key Account Solution Provider for Germany, as well as an Account Project Manager for the same region. She works on expanding our relationships with our German-speaking partners whenever she can.

Nina graduated from the Language High School in her hometown of Plovdiv, where German was her main language of choice – her second foreign language being English. She graduated successfully and has earned a DSD II – (Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz, Stufe 2, B2/C1) certifying her level of German.

Nina’s true passion is discovering different cultures along with traveling, which gives her the chance to explore new places. In her words, “Food is more than just fuel required in order to live, but a culture in itself and a distinctive pearl in each society”.

Alongside this, she’s a valuable part of our 1-StopAsia team. When it comes to hard work under tight deadlines, she’s your person to get the job done with the utmost attention to detail and excellent customer care. It always sounds wonderful when we get to listen to her talk in German!

Nina Yoncheva

Karen joined 1-StopAsia’s Accounting team in 2015. She’s completed all the courses in this specific field with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. 4 years later, she’s accumulated a variety of work experience and her knowledge often proves to be of great importance to our company.

She has a very strong sense of responsibility, in combination with a friendly demeanor and a willingness to help others. With her professional approach and experience, a lot of our colleagues know they can count on her for the right solution. As she often says: “Nothing is impossible for a willing heart.”

Karen has a wide range of hobbies, including traveling, watching movies and listening to music. Her favorite, however, is traveling – and she organizes a vacation and a family trip for herself every year.
