Hoang Nguyen is a scientist with extensive experience in reagent development and bioconjugation at 10x Genomics since September 2021, previously serving as a Senior Research Associate. Prior to this, Hoang was an Associate Scientist at Swiftscale Biologics, where involvement included the production and analysis of SARS-CoV2 therapeutics and diagnostics, as well as leading product analytics through ELISA. Hoang started the career as a Research Associate at Swiftscale, operating automatic control systems for high-density cell culture and executing purification methods for various proteins. At San Jose State University, Hoang conducted research on genes regulating the methanol oxidation pathway in Methylobacterium extorquens AM1 and developed assays for poly-hydroxybutyrate quantification. Teaching experience includes instructing microbiology students on biosafety and laboratory practices. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from San José State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Vietnam National University – International University.
