Amber Tetreau-Carson

Amber Tetreau-Carson, Ed.D., is an experienced higher education professional with a strong focus on program management and student success. Currently serving as Director II of Program Management at 2U since January 2020, Tetreau-Carson drives strategy for graduate programs while fostering partnerships that align with university missions. Previous roles include Senior Student Success Manager and Student Success Manager, where Tetreau-Carson enhanced retention and student experience for various online degree programs at Vanderbilt University and UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to joining 2U, Tetreau-Carson spent over 14 years at the University of Arizona, holding positions such as Associate Director of Admissions, where responsibilities included supervising staff, developing admissions policies, and improving enrollment efficiency. Tetreau-Carson holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, along with a Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Northern Arizona University.
