Cybersecurity firm, The 324 Consultancy, has announced that Neal Semikin has joined its team as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his role, Mr. Semikin will be influential in advising on key client projects, particularly in the fields of cyber strategy and operational resilience.
Formerly the CISO and Head of IT Security at the Bank of England, Mr. Semikin gained considerable experience managing the bank’s cybersecurity risk and organizational maturity. He also was the bank’s UK representative at events such as the G20 Working Party on Security Incidents in Basel, and the trilateral cyber partnership with the U.S. Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada.
Mr. Semikin has more than 30 years of IT experience, including leading high-focus deliveries and transformations for Lloyds Banking Group. He also runs a part time freelancing consultancy called Blackfoot Cybersecurity.
