Drew Golder

Drew provides transmission analysis and optimization support to the 7X software team and manages transmission and interconnection activities supporting the 7X Energy development team. In addition, Drew performs in-house modeling of electricity systems and markets, providing injection capacity analysis, LMP basis, and curtailment risk analysis. Drew gained this expertise while working as a consultant at both Leidos Engineering and DNV GL, providing due diligence level analysis for investors in solar, wind, and natural gas combined cycle assets. Drew began his career in renewables in 2008 as technical sales lead for the US business of Gamesa Wind and later performed equipment-focused due diligence work at DNV GL, where he climbed wind turbines in 10 US states performing construction inspections.

Drew holds a MS in Power Systems Engineering from Drexel University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
