Karolis Mockus has had a varied career in engineering, beginning in 2012 as an Electronics Engineer's Assistant at expBaltic LTD. In 2014, they joined the CENTER FOR PHYSICAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY (FTMC) as an Engineer, working on the development of cutting edge microwave radiation detection systems. In 2015, they moved to Altechna as a Physicist Engineer, designing and improving precision mechatronic systems for use in scientific and industrial laser applications. In 2017, they joined ADOS-tech as a Physicist Engineer, responsible for the design of innovative motion control methods and state of the art laser beam manipulation systems. In 2019, Karolis Mockus began an internship at Bundeswehr University Munich, focusing on the optimization of FEA simulation parameters. Karolis also became an Electrical Engineer at Magazino GmbH, working in a team responsible for the electrical systems design of the company's autonomous robots. In 2021, they joined 9T Labs as an Electrical Engineer.
Karolis Mockus obtained their Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University between 2012 and 2016. Karolis then went on to receive their Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University between 2017 and 2019.
