Gemma Ferris

Gemma Ferris is a Chartered MCIPD professional with extensive experience in human resources. Currently serving as a Human Resources Manager at A&O Shearman since May 2024, Gemma has held the same title at Allen & Overy since May 2020, where previous roles included Human Resources Specialist from December 2016 to April 2019. Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Gemma worked at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council from September 2005 to December 2016, holding various positions such as Human Resources Officer, Learning and Development Coordinator, Human Resources Recruitment Officer, and Human Resources Assistant. Gemma holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Ulster University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the same institution (2001-2005).
