Sharon Purnell

Sharon Purnell is an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer with extensive experience in leading HR functions across various industries. Currently serving at AAR since April 2025, Purnell previously held the same position at Stepan Company from January 2023 to April 2025 and at Streamland Media from January 2021 to January 2023, where Purnell oversaw HR for a global network of post-production businesses. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Riddell from January 2016 to January 2021, managing a team and driving strategic HR initiatives. Purnell holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Avila University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Lee University.
