Lee Washington

Lee Washington is the current Chief Information Officer at ABC Financial. Lee has held this position since May 2015. Prior to their current role, they were with ABC Financial Services for over 5 years, where they served as their CIO. In this role, they were responsible for providing overall information technology strategy while leading teams in the specific areas of planning, architecture, enterprise applications, infrastructure, operations, software development, devops, security & risk management, compliance, hosting, facilities and procurement.

During their time at ABC Financial Services, Lee developed Data Center and Cloud-based strategies to reduce cost and improve stability and reliability of systems. Lee also modernized and standardized ABC Financial’s core infrastructure, which resulted in cost savings in maintenance and support. In addition, they migrated the company to a datacenter with better connectivity and resilency to support their cloud/hybrid cloud-strategy. This migration allowed them to virtualize 95% of their infrastructure, which resulted in over $1 million in annual cost reductions.

In addition to their work with infrastructure, Lee also established the Business Continuity and Incident Response plan that included periodic testing of redundancy and availablity. Lee was also responsible for annual PCI, SOX and related bank audits. Lee developed Enterprise ITSM processes (Change, Problem, Incident, CMDB, Knowledgebase) which led to higher employee productivity, improved customer satification and reduction in post-production incidents. Lee also established the Enterprise Project Management Office

Lee Washington has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Central Arkansas.
