Mark Redman

Mark Redman is Global Head of Private Markets (Designate). Prior to joining ASI, Mark was Global Head of Private Equity at OMERS, having set up its European Private Equity operations from scratch. Over a ten-year period he positioned the business as a significant player in the upper mid-market segment. This franchise has included buyout, venture capital and growth equity strategies. He sat on multiple Investment Committees and had decision making responsibilities for transaction opportunities and strategic initiatives in the asset class.

He has truly global experience, having transacted across Europe, North America and Asia. Of particular note is his strategic decision to open private equity operations in Asia out of Singapore in order to strengthen the franchise's geographical footprint. Prior to joining OMERS, Mark spent twelve years at 3i, the Global FTSE-100 mid-market fund, where he focused on buyout and growth investments across the Benelux, Germany, France and the UK.
