Jason Strauss is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (UK) and currently serves as the Chief Actuary at Absa Life, a prominent South African bancassurer. With a robust background in both life insurance and consulting, Jason has held leadership roles, including Head of Corporate Actuarial at Absa Group and Head of the Life Actuarial Team at KPMG. Jason's experience spans over two decades, during which they have focused on delivering effective solutions to complex problems. Outside of their professional life, Jason enjoys following rugby and cricket, hiking, traveling to exotic destinations, and has a passion for property development and investment.
