Shane Wentzel

Shane Wentzel is a Specialist Platform Engineer at Absa Group since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in IT management and engineering. Previously, Shane served as Managed Services Manager at Gabsten Technologies from August 2017 to September 2023, where responsibilities included providing Commvault Support, installation, configuration, and support for various systems. Prior to that, Shane worked as a Systems Administrator at WesBank, managing OS/2 servers and Windows server environments. Earlier roles also include IT Infrastructure Architect at AnsaCall and Support Specialist at Gabsten Technologies, with foundational experience as a SysAdmin at WesBank. Shane completed education at Florida Park High School from 1987 to 1991.
