Jeffrey Barnes

Jeffrey Barnes is a Principal Associate at Abt Associates, serving since October 2016 as Chief of Party for the SHOPS Plus project, providing comprehensive technical support to the local social marketing organization, CRS, with a focus on research, marketing, behavior change communication, and organizational development. Prior to this role, Barnes had a lengthy tenure at Population Services International from June 1995 to December 2005, where responsibilities included Program Manager for West Africa and Country Director positions in South Africa and Ivory Coast, along with a role in Technical Services. Barnes earned a bachelor's degree in English from Oberlin College and attended the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
