Irene Maranan

Irene is the Vice President and Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Group at AC Energy Corporation, where she oversees public relations and drives the corporate sustainability strategy. She leads the development of the AC Energy brand and has spearheaded the development of the company’s Environment and Social Policy and Management System. She also led the company’s flagship sustainability program, a Conservation Estate, to promote sustainable livelihood and environmental protection in one of the company’s wind farms in Ilocos Norte.

Since joining AC Energy in 2015, Irene has helped pioneer Ayala’s Energy and Infrastructure Group using over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and corporate communications from companies across various industries.

Irene completed her Leadership Program from The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), in collaboration with INSEAD and Yale University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
