Anton Kapliy

Anton Kapliy, Ph.D., CFA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Portfolio Analytics at Acadian Asset Management, a position held since November 2013. In this role, Anton oversees the business logic, codebase, and infrastructure related to portfolio construction and optimization, post-optimization workflows, and backtesting frameworks. Prior to this, Anton held various roles at Acadian, including Vice President and Senior Analyst, where accomplishments included developing a systematic quantitative investment process for multi-asset strategies and establishing a distributed computing infrastructure. Anton's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago, where research focused on statistical analysis of datasets from the Large Hadron Collider. Additionally, Anton has served on the Board of Directors for the Hyde Park Manor Condominium Association, overseeing financial audits and property management activities.
