Sylvain Masounave

As CTO and VP of Engineering at Accedian, Sylvain is responsible for the company’s technical vision, driving key development initiatives and leading the growth and development of Accedian’s engineering teams. His primary focus is to develop, deliver and maintain scalable, reliable, secure, high-performing and market-leading software and hardware offerings with a focus on exceptional customer experience.

Sylvain began his career in 1997, working in two startups as a Mechanical Engineer, Product Owner and Lead R&D. Before joining Accedian, Sylvain led the global R&D and Operation organizations at OneSpan. Prior to that he led the engineering teams for PLM, SLM, ALM, SCM and RFA at PTC for more than a decade. During these years he demonstrated a track record of providing strong technical and operational leadership, growing and empowering teams, and possessing a strong understanding of an R&D environment that incorporates Agile development practices, operations and release processes in both SaaS and on-premises software release cycles.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering as well as Master’s degree in manufacturing from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal.
