M Wasif Khan

M Wasif Khan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. M Wasif began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Victoria, where they worked on an Audio Signal Processing project. M Wasif then joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati as a Student. After completing their education, Khan joined Oracle as an Associate Software Engineer, where they worked on Solaris SMB and NFS remote file systems. M Wasif later took on the role of a Software Engineer at Oracle, focusing on Solaris SMB and NFS.

In 2015, Khan joined Zilingo Pte Ltd. as JVP Engineering & Data, serving as a TECH-LEAD in both Engineering and Data. M Wasif led teams in developing microservices for ZTrade and ZFactory, using Java/Scala over Play-framework with REST/Kafka for communication. Additionally, Khan built infrastructure for Analytics, DS, and Data Engineering, including a data warehouse using Impala querying engine on Kudu and S3. M Wasif also developed libraries, an aggregator, and control services for syncing data from microservice-localized DBs.

In 2023, Khan worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Solvei8, where they made significant contributions before transitioning to the same role at Acceldata.

From 2007 to 2012, M Wasif Khan attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and obtained a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Electronics and Communication.
