Héctor Huici

Héctor Huici has more than 30 years’ experience in the ICT sector working primarily with the Argentinian government. He has held high level positions including Information and Communications Technology Secretary of Argentina, where he was responsible for defining the telecommunications policy for the Government and lead the regulatory team that reviewed and updated ICT regulations, a 10-year spectrum roadmap proposal, including 5G. He was also part of the Commission in charge of drafting the Convergence Communications Act.

As a representative of the National Government in the ITU and a regular speaker at international forums, Huici has played a major role in the development of regulatory best practice, globally.
