Cindy R. Kent

Cindy R. Kent is a healthcare veteran with 25+ years in the industry. She is the current executive vice president and president of senior living of Brookdale Senior Living, America’s largest senior living company with 700+ facilities across the U.S. Brookdale is a $4.1B revenue business. Kent oversees day-to-day operations of senior living with responsibility for revenue and profitability growth. Previously she’s held executive leadership positions with 3M, Medtronic and Eli Lillly.

Kent has been named one of Savoy Magazine’s 2020 Most Influential BlackExecutives in Corporate America. She is a Henry Crown Fellow of the AspenInstitute. Executive board leadership positions include Best Buy Co.’s Boardof Directors, 2018 to 2020. She currently sits on the Board of Trust atVanderbilt University.

Kent holds a Master of Divinity and MBA in Marketing from Vanderbilt University. She completed a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University.
